My expertise covers the design and execution of: hand-painted murals and trompe l’oeil; specialist paint finishes and decorative effects; Venetian polished plaster; metallic finishes; aging and restoration; master crafts - marbling, graining and gilding; art works and portraits; and all types of bespoke paint finishes.

Established in 1984, I bring a wealth of experience working with paint, colour and decorative arts.

I work for home owners, interior designers, architects and businesses, transforming interiors using an array of Specialist Paint Finishes, Paint Effects, Polished Plasters, Murals and Trompe l'oeil. I paint commissions on canvas for clients at home and oversees in oils and acrylics.

​My work can vary from painting a trompe l'oeil scene in a pool room to painting a croc skin effect on a wall; from graining a grand entrance hallway to updating furniture with a specialist finish; from applying polished plaster to adding metallics for a sublime effect. I can offer my experience to help you gain the most from a project, large or small.

I am based in London and regularly undertake projects throughout the UK and overseas.

Murals & Trompe L'oeil

Mural can completely transform the atmosphere and character of a space. From a child's wonderland to the neo-classical. Trompe l’oeil magically transforms through illusion using light and shadow to give the impression of depth or distance.

Specialist paint finishes

Specialist paint finishes are an effective and cost-effective design technique. From time-established finishes such as marbling, gilding and graining to the more contemporary such as texturing and stone blocking. possibilities for walls and furniture is endless.

Polished Plasters

Polished plaster wall finishes provide faux stone and marble-like surfaces.  This unique art of making plaster appear translucent, burnished and layered, offers unlimited opportunities to create contrasting and unique interiors.

Art work commissions

As an artist, I enjoy working in both oil and acrylic. My commissions are eclectic, ranging from contemporary art, pet portraits, abstract and often from the outlandish to awe-inspiring.
